Thanks for allowing me to be part of the group. I have a 5 yr old Dominique Rooster who is very big! I also have 3 Dominique hens 18 wks old, 3 golden comet hens 18 weeks old, 2 Rhode Island Red hens 18 weeks old and 2 Easter egger hens 18 weeks old. I started getting 2 small eggs last Friday but don't know which hen is laying for sure... Maybe someone could tell me what they think by the eggs?

Hello and welcome to BYC!

I hang out with my birds a lot, so eventually I can tell who's laying what. When one of them goes in to lay, stop back in 30 mins and then look closely at the egg laid. Eventually you will figure out who's laying by the color and hue.

Enjoy those eggs!
