It is just me and my husband. We live in Dallas, Tx. Have our first laying pullets. I bought them as chicks. 5 Easter Eggers, 1 Silver Spangled Hamburg. She is skiddish! I am hoping to raise a few meat chicks not just for the meat, but for the experience. I have chronic Lyme disease and many other auto-immune diseases and am on the AIP diet. (that's Auto-Immune Protocol) I have a page on facebook with my friends. The meat one has to eat needs to be wild caught, pasture raised, etc...We are hoping that we can get some friends who have a farm to help us raise some Red Ranger meat chickens.
We have 3 amazing grandchilren. A 6 year old grandson, 3 year old grandson, and a 16 month old granddaughter. Our daughter says she is through! We love the kids, Classic movies, drinking pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain.....really not sure what I am suppose to post. Just a newbie chicken lady who can use all the help that she can get.
