I'm a married mom of 4 kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats, a rabbit, a hamster, and 8 chickens. I guess I'm "new" again to chickens. We didn't have any for 10 years due to a neighbor issue (they moved this year- yay). We planned to rebuild our coop and get more, but hadn't gotten around to it. Then in July my son rescued an old hen. She really got the ball rolling. So now have 8, and we're loving it. I been creeping on the site since that fateful day in July. I figured it about time I join.
