I hope I put this in the right place. This is the only spot that would come up when hitting introduce your self here.(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I had chickens in Oregon when I was a kid and loved them spent a lot of my time out at the coop. I am 46 and just got chickens again we bought a house and I am aloud to have them but it took some talking to my husband he is a city boy.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 34 chickens yes I went big. Was not sure how many would live. Well I bought 22 than 15 and lost 3. Did not know about this Flock thing we had them all in are home the older one in a huge box on the floor and the new batch up in the cage they talked to each other all the time. When it was time to move out the older ones I did and 2 weeks later the others went out to join them. They do not get a long at all they are 2 weeks apart. I also have 5 turkeys that I got with the 2 batch of chickens after putting them all to gather and than separating them the turkeys started picking on the polish so now the turkeys are with the big chickens after 2 days they seem to be doing fine with them. They are about the same size.
(3) What breeds do you have?
All different I'll get white eggs brown ones and green or bluish ones. Light
Brahmas,polish,hatchery choose witch is a mix of a lot of different ones. I ordered all hens but we think we might have 2 roosters. We built the coop 12x12x10 foot high with a 3 foot storage area and the run is also 12x12 half of it is covered. I think it all turned out great but I'll have to expand on the run. I'll probably make a tracker for them turkeys.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? None really
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I don't work. I did tell I got hurt 7 back surgery's 03 was my last real paying job. Than I have been raising my kids and getting paid in love. My daughter is going to college to become a vet. My son is a junior in high school both are wonderful I am very lucky no Drugs or drinking. I have the best husband anyone could want. 4 dogs 2 cats a fish 34 chickens and 5 turkeys for the holidays.
