I'm actually new to raising chickens. Got my first ones last summer, and this site has been very helpful. Last year I bought ISA browns and barred rocks. An illness forced me to sell most of them. We kept 2. Then, this summer I got Black Copper Marans and Crested Cream Legbars. So, with my 2 ISA browns , I have a total of 13. May do a small scale breeding. I don't want to do too many just a few. Thinking about breeding some Sapphires next summer.
