My oldest is still in school until Friday but she goes to a different school district, she doesn't think it is fair that her siblings are out but she still has to the rest of the week to go. Also sorry I have been bouncing on and off I sent the husband to buy 4 Bantam Silver Phoenix chicks and he came home with the 4 and an adult rooster which has been known to attack,so I am attempting to retrain him and let him know we are the big "roo" around here plus introducing him to my flock of 10-11 week olds. It has me worried because he is older and has spurs as to where my younger roos don't have their full spurs yet. So far minor fights in the run but it is just the whole establishing pecking order. Hoping it stays this way,if it gets bad I will be forced to either re-home him or he will have to enjoy bachelorhood in a separate coop/run if that is the case then I will add the new chicks to his coop when they get to be about 6 weeks old. He is too pretty to send to freezer camp.
