Hello-
Trying to follow the rules and introduce myself. I've been using BYC as a resource since we got our first chicks in May 2016, but just joined as a member today.
We currently have 3 hens and 18 juveniles - though I'm raising 6 babies for a neighbor so we will have 15 total in a couple weeks. We have a mixed flock of red stars, black stars, buff polish, Americana, barred rock and speckled sussex.
I found BYC doing a google search trying to learn as much as I could before we brought the girls home last Spring. It has been a lifesaver!!
My husband and I live in city limits so we only have hens, thought McMurray may have snuck in a rooster in the recent batch so he may be going to live with my friend soon.
Thanks for helping me learn everything I need to know about raising healthy girls.
