Hi my name is Wendy. We currently have 13 chickens.

6 leghorns
2 blue Asians of which we can
find anything about.
1 Americana
4 cream leg bars

I never knew I would love our girls so much! I spend a lot of time just hanging out with them. I have learned a lot from byc!

Sounds like you a lovely flock of great breeds! Chickens are sure enjoyable and very fun and entertaining to keep. I'm so glad you are enjoying them! Don't you just love their personalties?

Thanks! Its nice to get confirmation that they will lay brown eggs we assumed they would! Looks like they will give us lots of eggs too! I'm not sold on the slow grower part! Barb (short for barbie, cause she is the life of the party according to my daughter)is a big girl she is much bigger then the leghorns and kit, who was our runt is bigger then them too. They are a bit skidish but do make some very pretty sounds. They will be beautiful girls!

That is kit! We can't tell the leghorns apart yet even after having them 6 weeks!

Nice to meet you Wendy, so glad you joined the BYC flock. Chicken TV (as we call it) is the greatest show in town, live entertainment, no reruns, no cable to satellite bills.
