I've never used an internet forum before, so I hope I'm doing this right. I live in Southern Wisconsin and I got my first flock of chicks this past May. We butchered some roosters a few wks ago, and what we have left is 3 Buff Orpington hens, 1 B. Orp rooster, 4 Partridge Rock hens, 3 Silver Penciled Rock hens, 5 Blue Andalusian hens, 1 White Faced Black Spanish hen and 1 White Faced Black Spanish rooster. Pretty diverse crowd, I know, and it's been fun and a challenge getting to know everyone. I have a ton of chicken stories and probably just as many questions. I've used this forum for the past 6 mo. to answer some questions that I've had, and it is such a relief to know that there are other people out there that are as coo coo for chickens as I am. I live in a heavily agricultural area, and most folks think I'm a little nutty for loving my chickens as much as I do!
So for my first statement, I'd like to say that my WFBS rooster, Mr. Nice Guy (aka El Sympatico), is the BEST ROOSTER EVER!!!!
