I don't have chickens, I have ducks. I currently have four muscovies, one buff and one peking. I just got three more. I know one is a mallard, but the other two I am not sure of. Can someone identify these for me? I think the black and white is a muscovy mix but not positive. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Wow, very pretty bird you have there! I don't know much about ducks. But if you stop by our ducks section and talk to our duck experts, they can help with all kinds of things. You can also share stories, pics and talk to other duck owners....https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks

Enjoy all your birds and welcome to our flock!

Glad you joined us!

The black and white duck looks like a Black Magpie to me. The other duck may be a Snowy Mallard (Mallards come in a few colors other than the most common one), a Snowy Call duck, or something else depending on its size.

For other opinions, I would be sure to post in the Ducks section of the forums.

To me, your black and white duck looks like a Black Magpie. The other duck does look like she could be a Snowy Mallard.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. Definitely post in our duck link that TwoCrows left with you and take advantage of our duck experts there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your ducks.
