Hi there! New to this place & new to chickens. I've been doing some research for a month or so & obviously most google searches for anything chicken related bring me here so I decided to join. It seems like a great place, full of good info.
I'm in CT, we just picked up 4 red sex link pullets about 18 weeks old & I'm loving them already. They are so sweet & funny, I can't wait till they get settled in & aren't shy anymore. I'm that girl who named her chickens right away - Rose, Sophia, Dorothy & Blanche. I'm sure some of the older folks will get the reference to the Golden Girls.
We have a rescue dog named Patrick who is mostly rat terrier, love that boy. We also own rock crawlers as a hobby (think big, built jeeps).
