I've been the proud owner of ex cage hens for a couple of years now. I joined here as I had a little flock of baby polish come in on a rescue last week. I've never owned chicks and I've heard these ones are particularly hard to sex . They vary in ages and I have already started a new thread in the breed or sex category. If anyone wants to look at the pictures and give me their opinions on that thread please do! They range in age/size and I have no clue how many weeks they are. They're so cute though! Looking forward to watching them grow and see how many cocka-doodle-doos I get

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. Thanks so much for rescuing chickens in need.
Polish are about as difficult to sex early as Silkies.
Thank you. It's making it harder not knowing how old any of them are . I know the biggest is a boy (I was told at collection) and he has prominent wattles and v shaped comb. So I'm waiting in anticipation

Good morning! Pics of your chicks, would love to see them.

I will be no help at determining the sexes of your chicks, but I think it's great that you have ex-cage hens and rescued babies. I used to work with a dog breed rescue, and it's both rewarding and heart-breaking.

Best wishes for you with your flock of young ones, and welcome to BYC!
