Hi My Name Is Idis!

I have 25 6 day old chicks right now. The breeds are: black australorp, buff orpington, silver laced wyandotte, cherry eggers and barred rock. I have named a few of them. One of the cherry eggers is called Crimson. A really fluffy australorp is called Fluff. Finally a barred rock named Midnight because she (or he?) is mostly black with yellowish white white on the head. But, I ordered all pullets and it seems that I have 5 roosters. Not a big deal anyway (they did say they had a 80% sexing rate).

Fixed a spelling error. :)

Those are all good, hardy, dependable breeds and I've had all of them at one time or another. I still have Black Australorps and Buff Orpingtons. I love them because they are calm and gentle birds and good layers (my Australorps are exceptional layers). Good luck with your flock.
