I am new to incubating chicken eggs and was in search of some advice on my hatch.... I placed 40 eggs in my incubator and was wondering if that is to many and should I move a few over to my other incubator that is empty they are due to hatch 6/7/16....Thank you in advance for all the help and advice

What kind of incubator are you using?

I am using Farm Innovators Pro Series incubator also have 2 Little Giants still incubators

Both of those holds 42 eggs using a turner and more w/o it, so yes, they are fine....of course depending on whether you believe in removing chicks during hatch or not could prove stressfull if you have a successful hatch and many out at once. I remove my chicks during hatch, so I have no worries. I have the LG and the biggest set I've done was 42 with 36 going into lockdown and 33 hatching out.
