(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?: I got my very first 2 girls February 29th then my partner took my brother to Tractor Supply and got 7 more. Hes owned them all his life but this is my first time owning and raising chicks.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?: I have 7, 5-6 day old chicks!
(3) What breeds do you have?: I have 2 Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 4 Black Austrolops, and 1 mystery baby!
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?: I haven’t decided yet, im a little too new lol
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?: I really enjoy baking and im excited for my girls to start hatching and having fresh eggs daily!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.: i have 5 dogs and a ball python! i had rats for a while too and im a big stoner if anyone else enjoys it too!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?: I found BYC searching up different chicken questions and i finally joined to ask my own questions!
