For bedding I usually use pine shavings. Once I found some hardwood shavings that were the best I've ever used, but I haven't been able to find them again. I think they were aspen.
 
HI! I have a friend that lives in Moscow Mills. She was my college roommate, and we are still very close.

Welcome from Michigan. I used paper towels and then switched to old car wash towels. When they went to the grow out pen in the garage I switched to pine shavings.
