Hi All new here and would love to find out how to raise my baby turkey he or she is 5 weeks old have had him 3 days and need lot's of info on how to raise what to feed and i am sure i have lot's of questions ....hopeing to get to know you all here oh by the way he is a pet .....

wow u have a farm...I have Gobbles my turkey 2 cats 2 dogs jackrussel mix and a redbone coonhound and thats it ......dogs are cloie and max cats are sassy andd chuck......nice to meet u oh I am from pa

from Ohio. So glad you joined. You might want to post your question in the Turkey section on the index page. If I remember right I think turkeys require a higher protein feed than a chicken.

from Alabama. Turkey poults do require a higher protein feed, so they're usually fed a gamebird starter. The Turkey section on here is great & it has lots of info that really helped us out with our turkeys. Congrats on the poult & good luck
