Hi! New here...

Even though I've read many posts in the past looking for answers to questions about my chickens, I finally joined! Looking forward to some chicken chat

Glad you joined us chooknook! Do you currently have any chickens?

I do! I've had a backyard flock for a couple of years that I got primarily for a variety of eggs. I have a couple of EE's, an olive egger, rumpless auracana, welsummer, red star, lavender orp, chocolate orp, blue/red laced wyandotte, and a blue silkie roo. They quickly became my favorite pets!
I recently decided to venture over to the world of hatching

My olive egger was broody so I let her hatch them. We ended up with 2 of our own crossbreeds and 3 tolbubt polish. They're a couple months old now. Then, about a month ago I ordered a dozen silkie/sizzle hatching eggs and incubated them. Now, I have 11 week old chicks!
I started with a small coop, upgraded 6 months later and just recently started building a giant coop! Ha.
