Hi everyone! I'm Heather and we're from WV. I had chickens probably over 10 years ago as a 4-Her, and this Spring we decided our daughter, now 19 months old, was old enough to go w/ us to the chicken house to collect eggs. We got her 8 little peeps that we let her raise up and have since then added a few other young birds. We now have 19 hens and 1 rooster she named Duke. Our flock range from Ambers, Red Sex Link, Plymouth Rock, and Buff Orpingtons. We look forward to growing out flock each year and we just love seeing her face light up when she looks into the nest and finds an "eggy"!
