Hi,

I am new to keeping chickens! I have three lovely ladies Doris a Maran, Henny Penny a Medlesham Amber and Waddle-Dee a Mendlesham Ranger.

I have finally become a member to the site after finding alot of great advice especially as Doris hasn't been so well.

Looking forward to finding out loads more

Keeping chickens in the UK is on the up

I am having a few problems with m Maran she has been lame since yesterday morning, I have checked her feet and legs and can't see any wounds, breaks or bumblefoot. I thought today that she was a little brighter but have now noticed that she is pecking her foot. I have isolated her and have given asprin. Any ideas??

hopefully not maraks as that is a cripling desise

Think I will start treating for mites, I have also been concerned that it could be meraks.

She is so happy eating, drinking and laying an egg today, I am confused!!
