(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes totally new. Have had baby chicks for 3 weeks.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 7
(3) What breeds do you have? 3 are black sex links for sure. Hubby picked 4 without me and well you know how that goes! Assured they are pullets as box and receipt said so but, they did come from tractor supply sooo yeah! One looks like a super big bird compared to the others of same age.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Hoping for fresh eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening,crafts
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Family of 5. 1 of my kids are grown out of house, one is autistic 22 and lives with us still, and one is 16 and thinks she is grown lol. I live in the sticks. I work at a local elementary school. My hubby does heat and air. I have 2 chihuahuas, a dwarf hamster and now 7 chicks.

Searched about trying to figure out breeds of the 4 chicks my husband got seen your site and thought hey I can learn a lot here!
