All help is appreciated just getting started here and want to do it right. :)

Our starting flock is 3 black and 3 golden sex link and 3 turken naked necks, my wife and I as well as our 5 children ages8 months to 11 years will all be participating in the care and enjoyment of our chicks. As of now we believe they are all about 1plus weeks old and have them in a 75 gallon stock tank lined with fine pine shavings, we are feeding them medicated Start and Grow from purina and have a 250 watt heat lamp at one end about 20 inches above the bedding and water of course. If anyone can help to ensure we are off to a good start please do, and if there are any suggestions we welcome them with open arms. Oh we have them indoors.

We moved into a house with a coupe that needs some help i will post pics tomorrow and be asking for all the help i can get to make it a comfy home for oue new babies, it is a large 10x12 fully enclosed coupe built by an old Amish fellow who used to live here however it hasnt been used in a few years.

Thanks in advance.

I think you will find your chicks outgrowing the fishtank very quickly
