Hello there!
We live in Colorado, and recently got chickens. We are new so it has been a bit of trial and error, but I think we have done pretty well. Only lost three out of twenty-six at this time!
We have a bunch of different breeds and ages, with our oldest being (around) 6 weeks and our youngest 2 weeks. We also have four ducks, which I counted above.
We know little about chickens, just what a friend who breeds chickens has told us, as well as a childhood friend of mine.
Some breeds that I remember are silver laced, easter Eggers, speckled Sussex, bantam, and silkies. (Sorry if I spelled any of those wrong!) We are unsure what breed the ducks are - we got those at tractor supply and they were labeled as "ducks". I may update this with all/more breeds in the future.
