I have been keeping chickens and ducks for about a year and a half. I have 32 chickens (red-sex link, black sex link and easter eggers) and one bantam roo who is currently sick :(. I have 7 khaki campbell ducks all hens. I've viewed many articles on this site that have helped me raise my chickens and keep them safe. Thanks for all your help.
 
Hello, 32 chickens :eek: I thought I had a lot... It's amazing how they just accumulate and then BAM chickens everywhere. :lol:
It's too bad your roo isn't feeling well, I hope he gets better quickly!

I myself have 15 chickens (with a broody on 13 eggs), 4 pekin ducks, and a pilgrim gander. My chicken breeds are: gold sexlinks, isa browns, barred rocks, easter eggers, silkies, and cuckoo marans. The eggs will be silkie barred mixes and silkie sexlink mixes. :)

It looks normal but he stopped eating and drinking today...He was completely fine yesterday. I think it might be Gape-worm or respiratory but I had 2 hens die within 2 weeks of each other and they had the same symptoms which I used Tylan to treat and that didn't work.

I've never tried it myself but I've seen videos where people tube-feed their chickens. I wonder if that would help him pull through. I wish you luck.
 
Have you tried to bribe him with treats like watermelon (gets some fluid into him),
hard boiled mashed egg, meal worms, etc?
If you tried Tylan which didn't work, and the two hens with the same symptoms died. You have something being spread around your flock. and you may likely lose all your birds unless you find out just WHAT they had.
