(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We raised them when I was a kid. Haven't had any in about 35 yrs. Started my backyard flock on March 12, 2011.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

2 Polish Crested, 2 Wyandotte, 5 Buff Orpington, 3 Black Astralorpe, 1 Silkie, 1 Americauna
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Googling for coop plans and best backyard breeds.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Hunting, Fishing, Boating, Gardening, and all of this with my family.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Wonderful wife of 21 years, Three son's, one of whom is with the Lord, the other two are 13 and 3. I am a Deputy Sheriff who is doing his best to keep the children well grounded and teach them the things that my parents and grandparents taught me.
