Hello everyone! My husband and I were gifted our first chicken in May of this year, and as much as we protested we have grown to love our first girl and have added 3 more to our group since then! Our daughter is 2 and is IN LOVE with the chickens. We are novices and learn new things about our girls everyday it seems! Our 2 oldest are 2 black sex-links, around 9-10 months old. They are amazing layers! Since they started, we have gotten an egg per day from each of them. Our 2 newest are 6 month old RIR pullets. They are settling in to their little home while getting to know the other girls. It will be an adventure but with help from everyone we will make it work!!
