Hi to anyone reading, I'm RaptorChickens. I have had chickens for ten years and my dad and I now have a flock of around eighteen chickens. Five of them are full grown and the rest we got this year. I figured I would join since it's more helpful to ask your own questions than to try to search for another person's question that may not even match your own. Our oldest hen is eight years old or more and her name is Popcorn. She is a yellow buff orphington (if I spelled that right) and the head of the full grown flock. The head of the younger flock is a blue orphington named New Moon. She is all black and her feathers turn green and purple in the light. I look forward to taking part in the BYC community and sharing the stories of my crazy chickens!
