Hello everyone!

I'm Tabitha from Alabama. We just started (in March 2018) raising backyard chickens with our 2 year old daughter, Willa. We currently have 3 hens (Ameraucana, Banty, RIR mix) and 1 Banty rooster. We love making fresh treats and watching our chickens go wild over it! Honestly, we probably spend too much time with the chickens, haha. Hoping to add a few more to our flock soon and appreciate any breed recommendations (egg production, no meat)!

You may be as well seeing what is locally available rather than setting your heart on one specific breed. Prolific egg laying breeds / strains are very common.
