Hello! I am new at having chickens and in an effort to go more natural I decided to start raising my own. Back in March I made the plunge and got 5 Rhode Island Reds (age and sex is a question but I think they are about 4 wks old). And I have to say I'm having a ball with them! We do have a dog and it's been firmly established that they are MINE but shes been really good about ignoring them lol. I'm really hoping that I can get some help sexing because the feed store i got them from was clueless on their age, ie...she told me they were 2 days old but they had wing feathers which now I'm finding out that is at about a week old. But I'm in for the long haul and interested in getting more down the road!
