I am new to this forum and they ask we introduce ourselves. I am on my second batch of backyard chickens. The first was a batch of day old chicks. The current batch are battery cage rescue hens I adopted from Sanctuary One near Grants Pass in Oregon. They aren't the beauties I had before, but adopting these hens is one of the most rewarding choices I have ever made. I have 3. We also have 2 large dogs and 2 cats and they will all hang out in the yard together. I have gotten great advice from this site. So I signed up!

This photo is of their first day home. This was their first walk on grass. I tried to upload a photo of them now, but it seems I can only upload certain photos. Mostly older ones. They are white now and have tails!
