(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got my first chickens about 11 years ago and my family has had a handful since then until a few months ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We don't have any anymore, but we're getting 7 ducklings in a day or two.
(3) What breeds do you have?
The person we are getting them from said they would be Rouen or Welsh Harlequin.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
EGGS! I also showed hens in the county fair all 4 years of high school.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading/Writing/drawing, videogames, does Netflix count as a hobby?
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm the oldest of 5 (3 brothers and a sister), many cats, studying to be a special ed teacher and like trying out new recipies.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Came up as a search result when trying to figure out how to transport the ducklings.
