My name is Melissa and I'm new to chickens. I have 4 white ones, 2 brown ones, 2 dominickers (what my mom in law calls em) that I raised from babies. And my mom in law gave me 2 guineas, a rooster and 2 party hens lol that's what I call them, kinda smaller chicken types with fuzzy heads like they've been out all night partying. And then one of my party hens hatched a baby. I had a few more but in the year that I've had chickens, I've had some fatalities with possums and this black cat...and actually, my 2 party hens are MIA...I'm hoping they are stashed away sitting on an egg...but I'm not sure. I love my chickens, tho. I have a coop that I lock them in at night, but I let them roam during the daytime in nice weather. Ok well, that's all for now.
