[Blue Raptor]

I everyone! I am fairly new to chickens. I've had them for a few years. I recently got turkeys as well. I currently have 5 hens, 2 chicks, and 2 turkey chicks. The breeds of the adults are Plymouth barred rock, blue sapphire, black laced wyandote, blue laced red wyandote, and an olive egger. My chicks are an easter egger and a white leghorn. My ladies are really good at keeping the bugs and weeds at bay. I love how they run to me when I go in the backyard and they follow me around. I like to do craft stuff. I recently knitted a mini hat for a toy for my daughter and we put it on the chicken. It was so cute on her! We also have 5 indoor cats, 2 dogs, a few fish, and a frog in our pond. I LOVE my ladies so much!
I want to learn as much as I can about chickens and hopefully have my daughter show a chicken in 4-H in a couple years.
