I just realized I have been posting here and there for a while and haven't really introduced myself! Actually, I've been here on and off a few times over the years and just LOVE it! This is an amazing sight! MY name is Lori and I live in Nh with my 2 kids (a boy aged 8 and a girl aged 5), husband of 10 yrs, 4 adult chickens, bantam duck, 6 new baby chicks, 3 cats, 1 dwarf rabbit, a hairless rat, hamster, 3 toads, and my son's madagascar hissing cockroaches. We live in-town but poultry is luckily completely allowed. The whole town is zoned for agriculture
We've been keeping chickens for about 5 years now (we have just under 1/2 acre)...but this will be our first time having so many at once. We had a couple of tragic losses over the winter due to illness/blockages .....and everyone here was so kind and helpful (thanks)! I really enjoy reading through the threads and learning so much!
