We have had chickens for a year and a half now and are up to seven hens: two silver laced wyandottes , a barnevelder, a barred rock, and three older *who knows*
Our blue and black cochins were relocated to new homes this past week. Bruiser went to a family farm and Gimpy went to the local petting zoo.

I found out about BYC from a friend this past weekend after one of our hens appeared to be sick. VERY HELPFUL.

Besides my chickens I LOVE to garden and do all the canning and food preservation that goes along with it.
