I raise runners for comic relief. Call ducks to keep me from becoming a snob - because they can squash your self esteem by laughing loudly, very loudly at you. Muscovies because they taught me that personality is more important than beauty - that beauty comes from inside. Roman Tufted geese because they make great watch dogs. Ameraucanas because I like all the colors they come in and the colored eggs. Speckled Sussex because my husband liked their looks - they are pretty, I must admit. One house dove that loves to watch tv and love comedy shows - she laughs at them. My true love is my bantam cochins, I have a trio of smooth feathered partridge plus a frizzled roo. A trio of blues, a two black hens, two black and white molted hens, a pair of self blues, a trio of black frizzles. Plus I have a quad of silver penciled. I have three I do not have a clue what they are - two are roos that are two shades of blue stripped saddles and blue the rest of the way and a blue hen that might be a molted but not sure. Frizzles are my favorite. I really want to "build" a very good frizzle.
