New to this great site! Yes, I've been a lurker and just now introducing myself.

We are a family of 5 that goes through so many eggs that it's crazy....of course hubby and I eat enough eggs, but it's the 3 growing boys we have that really devour them!

Was given a very docile rooster, so decided to start a flock again. This is the second time we've had chickens and we are a bit rusty. First flock, I left with my mother years ago. Currently have the rooster who's a bit over a year old, hangs out on my back patio with our golden retriever, and of course has not done the time change :)

We also have 10 chicks that are right about 2 months old. 4 Rhode Island Red, 5 Plymouth Rocks, and not really sure what the other one is.

Looking forward to relearning!

Enjoy all those eggs and welcome to our flock! :)

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. There's nothing quite like fresh eggs. You have some good laying breeds and should get lots of eggs from them. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in getting those eggs.
