New to this great site! Yes, I've been a lurker and just now introducing myself.
We are a family of 5 that goes through so many eggs that it's crazy....of course hubby and I eat enough eggs, but it's the 3 growing boys we have that really devour them!
Was given a very docile rooster, so decided to start a flock again. This is the second time we've had chickens and we are a bit rusty. First flock, I left with my mother years ago. Currently have the rooster who's a bit over a year old, hangs out on my back patio with our golden retriever, and of course has not done the time change
We also have 10 chicks that are right about 2 months old. 4 Rhode Island Red, 5 Plymouth Rocks, and not really sure what the other one is.
Looking forward to relearning!
