I guess you can say I am new to chickens. I have been hanging around this site for a while, getting lots of information and learning all I can. I have actually had my chickens for about 6 months now.

These 5 hens along with the one in my avatar were my intro to chickens.

Hi welcome to BYC! Are you planning on getting any new chickens at all?

I am planning on more. The silver hen in the picture died, so I only have 5 now. I would like to get some Red Star hens, and some Barnevelders. Then if I get a Barnevelder roo and breed with my Americana, I could have an Olive Egger in the mix. Of course I need to finish the run first.
