Hi,
I've just got my first lot of chooks since leaving home. I'm sick of the price of free range eggs and meat, so I decided to get some hens and some roosters. I have 1 pekin roo, 2 pekin hens, 1 frizzle roo, 1 frizzle hen and a few mixed breeds. I have cut most of the preventives out of my family's diet I do most of my shopping at the farmers market. Hope to learn lots while I'm here

Glad you could join the flock! Congratulations on your new chickens What a lovely way to feed your family with fresh eggs and meat that you know where it has come from. I hope you find the link Kelsie has left for you useful I'm sure you will. I too have frizzles of the polish variety really love them as they bring that something bit different to your flock.
