Hidden Coop

Ok, well, my chicken coop consists of several small hen houses. It's all pretty rough looking, but I've managed to hide it from view. I made a drop ceiling using chicken wire, a tarp, and pvc pipe, and put it over the pen. That gives them additional shade/water/hawk protection. (That's also what the red string is for on the uncovered part. The compost is in there, too. But look later and see what you see from the back yard.

They free-range all day, so they don't need to be in the coop area much. Next year I'll build a real walk - in coop there, but this works for now.
