I was cleaning up my property today and found a wild turkey egg! I candled it and there are no cracks...it looks normal and smells ok...I put it in the incubator

Cool! Please keep me updated I'd love to see what happens. I just put a turkey egg under one of my broodys today so they should be Hatching the same day!

Neat! Wish I could find one. I have little robin eggs every where but not anything like that yet. Hope it hatches

I will! I am really excited...I will candle in a week and check for development!

So weird! I just walked out my back foot and a second turkey egg was sitting in the grass right there ...I can’t imagine it laying that close to the house...this egg also looked fine with no cracks when candling and no discoloration or anything so I put it in the incubator as well.

Maybe mama turkey can’t raise them so she left them at my doorstep!
