High energy beef suet. Can I feed this to my chickens?

Found these "high energy beef suet" on sale for $1, so I grabbed 3 of them. Can I feed this to my chickens?

I assume they can peck it apart, right? Does it have to be in a suet cage, or can I put it in a dish?

It will be fine no matter how you feed it. The birds should love it after they learn what it tastes like. It will be an excellent source of energy for them on cold days.
