Hiya folks
I'm a newbie to this forum and thought I'd fill out this lil ol' form thingy to let ya all know a bit about me. I'll try real hard not to stomp any toes but I am a bit clumsy with big feet so just let me know if'n I messed up. I'm hoping to learn alot from you mighty fine folks. Thanks bunches to all of you
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Got our first chicks back some years ago when our kids were young and have just had them ever since. love those farm fresh eggs.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Oh lord......I'd have to count them all.........let's just say we got a good few many
(3) What breeds do you have?
Black Copper Marans, Easter Eggers, Araucanas, Jersy Giants and a couple lil Silkie girls for sitting. Love that easter basket look in the carton
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Family and friends clued me in to here.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I dabble in some craft making, jigsaw puzzles, and our personal home zoo
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Let's see, we live in NC, have a variety of birds, way too many stray dogs and cats left at our door but we take care of them anyhow and a horse or so. Always on the look-out for that missing bag of hundreds cuz I know the feed store will help me out with distrubiting it
