Just found this site yesterday and am already addicted!

I'm new to raising chickens and am so excited to learn and share everything I can.

So far we have 5 Buff Orpington and 5 Araucana chicks that are about 11 days old.

Their brooders set up in the living room where I can keep an eye on them while researching how to care for them on the computer.

As soon as I figure out how to post pics on this site I'll make sure to introduce all of them to you!

Hi and Welcome...I'm new here myself. We have some things in common. I live in PA also....I'm new to chickens...My 6 chicks are in my livingroom while I learn all I can on the computer. See, no matter what people say, we're not nuts! LOL

We have 1 barred rock, 2 grey leghorns, 3 EE's (or so I'm told) that started out being told they were Aracaunas.
