Hmm ... Always thought they were Buff Orpingtons but now not sure ...

So I was looking at my little remaining lady - Lily - today and was thinking that I wonder if she really is a Buff Orpington? I'd always thought they were (wish I thought of asking last year

) but now not sure about it. My bf got them from a woman in Snohomish, WA, then she gave me the three I had. What do you think?

Number 1 looks it, yes.

I agree, #1 is a Buff Orp, #2 looks like a cross.

Thanks both of you for replying. Which is interesting since they are sisters - and all the rest looked like this too. The momma looked similar to Elysia if I remember correctly. And the first one that passed away - Circe - actually looked like both of them. She had the black tail colors (slightly lighter) of Lily, but the body color that was more similar to Lysia. Lily was the smallest of the three. She - Circe - was bigger slightly then the both of them. Oh! And Circe had that dark neck colors that Lily has as well.

Any chance you can tell what you think they might be crossed with? I do think I remember something about my best friend telling me that the woman told her that her chicken had run off, then come back preggers. I could be wrong. So then maybe the rooster wasn't a BO?
