So we just slaughtered one of our birds. She was a nine month old cornish cross and she was....fat. As we were dressing her out we saw the liver and it was covered in white spots. That was rather disturbing to me so I became worried that the rest of our girls were/are sick and we didn't know it! No one is showing any sign of being ill...the only reason we even became concerned was because of seeing the liver. Was it just fatty from letting such a large chicken live so long or are my other chickens at risk? Thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help!
