I have 4 of my laying hens up for sale. A guy called about them. The first thing he said was "Do you have roosters for sale?" I was thinking.. why are you calling me about my laying hens? So anyway, I said yes. It's one of those moments where you don't really think. I can't go back on my word. The guy seemed a little weird. Now i'm giving my sweet silkie crosses that I raised from chicks, to some person that seems really wierd...

You could ask him, "Just for my personal records, why do you want my roosters?"

Be careful. A lot of the times they want them for illegal cockfighting. Tell him that they are really gentle, bottom the the pecking order, etc. These are the kind of people that take the aggressive roos that people give away.
