Hello What do you do with your Chicken when you are on hoildays? What if you can't find any one to watch them?

It depends, how long will you be gone? So far we've only made day trips, so stocking up the feeder and waterer is all that's needed. We closed up the coop late when we got home.

We're having more trouble about what to do with the spoiled rotton dog, than the chickens!

I have a watering system set up with a 30 gallon barrel and pvc pipe, valves and two fowl fountains, two 7 gallon buckets set up to hold feed. the water lasts three weeks and the feed lasts two weeks, I have 20 chickens and 2 turkeys. next step is an outomactic pop door opener with timer so it does not open before 8:00am.

Right now I would rather not leave them alone, but if I absolutely had to I would just make sure to leave enough food and watewr out, and hope nothing bad happens. What else can you do?
