Hi I'm Laurel! Moved to S. America 9 years ago and immediately drilled a well and built a chicken coop inside city limits b/c you can do that sort of thing here! Started with your basic golden comets, which cost less than a dollar here. Went through two sets of those guys before branchign out into breeds. Now I have a black australorp who is a shy angel and a golden comet and a silkie couple. The male has recently fertilized all females and i just hatched my first 9 today in an incuview incubator and have used this site to help me along. Tremendous help! Thank you

Raised all sorts of wild birds all my life, rescues. Chickens 9 years ago.

4 in the coup, 9 in the brooder, 6 in the incubator
