Obviously, chicks are super duper adorable. They're really soft and fuzzy, the chirping is cute. I enjoy holding my chicks and so does my girlfriend. Is it okay to hold them every once in a while for a few minutes? My oldest chick is a Barred Rock (only has adult feathers on its wings, the rest is fuzz) and seems to enjoy being held. When I initially put my arm in their box they all scatter but once I pick it up it will just perch on my finger or my hand (wherever it is most comfortable). It will even perch on my shoulder while I walk around. The rest are a few days younger I think and my girlfriend loves picking each on in turn and hold it for a minute or two. Will holding make them closer to their owner or just scared of people? I want to have super friendly chickens that will run up to me when I come see them. How can I make my chicks friendly and love me? I imagine it involves food haah
